Academic Advising
Allow us to lead your way.
Penn Nursing students benefit from a dual advising structure. All students are assigned a faculty advisor and have access to the professional staff advisors in the Office of Academic Affairs.
Academic advising through the Office of Academic Affairs can be conducted in person, via Zoom, or through a phone call. Students are welcome to email advisor@nursing.upenn.edu to discuss a question or schedule an appointment.
Incoming BSN and Doctoral Students are assigned a Peer Advisor during the summer prior to arrival. Peer Advisors are knowledgeable upperclassman student leaders who assist new students with the transition to Penn and the School of Nursing.
Incoming traditional and accelerated BSN students should expect to hear from their peer advisor the summer before their fall start at Penn
Doctoral students will receive the name of their peer advisor in their welcome letter.
