Capital Hill Day

Every year, SNAP sends representatives from our chapter to our State Capitol Building in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to teach nursing students about the political process.

Nursing Student and SNAP Members, Crystal Lu, describes her experience.

“It was an amazing opportunity to learn more about nursing legislation and how nurses and students can have a voice. We even had a personal meeting with Kevin Scheriber, PA House of Representative, who gave us an up close and personal tour of the voting rooms. The tour of the Capitol was a site to behold that I definitely will never forget!”
