GBM 1: What is SNAP? Come find out what SNAP is and what we do for our members and the community. Monday, September 9th, 12 pm
Peer Advising: How to Survive Microbiology  Freshmen will be able to hear from a panel of students who did well in micro-bio last year give their tips and answer questions about the class.  Wednesday, September 11, 12 pm
GBM 2: Convention Interested in a state or national student nursing convention? We will talk about what convention is like and about the legislative convention.  Wednesday, September 18, 12 pm
Peer Advising: Grey’s Night Come binge Grey’s Anatomy with your fellow Penn nurses! We will be watching 2-3 episodes with plenty of snacks. Friday, September 20, 7 pm
Community Service: MANNA MANNA cooks and delivers medically appropriate meals for neighbors w/ life-threatening illness, 3 meals a day / 7 days a week, at no cost. As a volunteer group, we will head to center city to chop, dice, cook, and/or package meals at their facility. Monday, September 30, 5 pm
 Community Service: Give Kids Sight Day This is an event held in Philadelphia each year that provides kids with free eye exams and two free pairs of eyeglasses if needed. A group from SNAP will be volunteering again this year as ambassadors.  Saturday, October 5, 7:30 am
 GBM 3: Innovation in Nursing  Marion Leary will be talking about what nursing innovation is and how students can get involved.  Monday, October 14, 12 pm
 Semi-Annual Faculty Dinner A small group of students will have the opportunity to sit down with Penn Nursing Faculty in a Fagin Hall break out room over dinner provided by SNAP.  Students will have the opportunity to ask them questions about their clinical background, their research, and what inspired them to pursue a graduate degree.  Thursday, October 17, 5 pm
 GBM 4: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society  Representatives from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be talking about their organization and the upcoming Light the Night Walk that SNAP is volunteering at.   Monday, October 21, 12 pm
GBM 5: Summer Opportunities Learn about the many various summer opportunities available to nursing students and how best to achieve them.

Peer Advising: Head to Toe Practice Sophomores preparing for their head to toe evaluations are invited to practice on upperclassmen who can help them work through any difficulties.  Friday, November 1, 10 am
GBM 6: How to deal with clinical stress The things we see and experience in clinical can be difficult to handle after the fact. Learn from experienced nurses on how they deal with clinical stress.  Wednesday, November 6, 12 pm
Story Slam Nursing students from the Philadelphia area will come together to share stories that explore the breadth, depth, and diversity of student nursing. Thursday, November 7, 6 pm
GBM 7: Narcan Training  A harm reduction coordinator will be coming to Penn Nursing to educate nursing affiliates on the overdose crisis and narcan training. Tuesday, November 19, 4:30 pm
State Convention  A group from SNAP will travel to Lancaster for the state convention and will present a new resolution.   Thursday-Friday, November 21-22
GBM 8: Board Elections   Elections for all board positions will be held.   Monday, December 2, 12 pm
Active Member Party  End of the semester party for all SNAP members with at least 5 points.   Monday, December 9, 12 pm
