Danielle received a bachelors and masters in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She joined MidAtlantic Neonatology Associates (MANA) in 2018, after having worked for both the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Christiana Care. Danielle is motivated to give back to her profession and the nursing community, which she does by mentoring students and investing in their education as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania in the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program. She is interested in education, simulation, and technology. She supports MANA in electronic medical record management and education as the practitioner liaison on the NICU EPIC Subject Matter Expert team, and as a Physician Builder. Danielle enjoys being an NRP Instructor and is expanding simulation opportunities at MANA. She is also a member of the MANA Practitioner leadership team serving as Practitioner Lead of Professional Development.
The Penn community embraces current knowledge, but is constantly looking for innovative ways to improve the comprehensive health of others.

Teaching
Teaching keeps me up to date on the latest research and medical advancements. It allows me to share my experiences and knowledge with students, and to learn from their experiences as well. Together, we get to explore the field of neonatology and shape the future of it.
My goal is to instill curiosity, passion, and confidence in the nurses of the future so that they can forge ahead within the field of neonatology, and make a difference as students and, one day, as esteemed colleagues.
