Margaret Yoho serves as the Director of Quality at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In her role as the Director of Quality, Ms. Yoho collaborates with interprofessional colleagues on projects to improve systems which impact quality of care and safety for hospital staff, patients, and their families. She mentors staff in quality improvement projects; encouraging innovation and rapid-cycle evaluation grounded in the science of improvement. Ms. Yoho received her BSN from West Virginia University and her MSN in Nursing and Healthcare Administration from University of Pennsylvania. She holds a certificate in Human Resource Management from Wharton and is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Her areas of interest and expertise intersect healthcare quality, safety, and process improvement. Prior to receiving her MSN, Ms. Yoho’s clinical experience included medical-surgical and emergency nursing in the acute care setting at organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Duke University Hospital.
