Dr. Boyden has been a CRNA for approximately 12 years. He currently works at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and serves as the Chief CRNA for the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care. He has been an instructor in SIM for approximately 4 years. Prior to being a CRNA, he was a nurse practitioner at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Boyden recently completed his DNP/MBA.

In his spare time, Dr. Boyden enjoys exercising, hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and traveling. His wife, Jackelyn Boyden, is a professor in the school of nursing and they have two girls.
