Charisse Ahmed, is a first year PhD student. She is interested in studying interventions to improve treatment uptake and retention among adolescents living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. Charisse previously conducted formative research among adolescents with HIV in Eswatini as a Fulbright student grantee. Charisse is interested in working clinically with adolescents with chronic conditions and psychiatric disorders at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
