Dr. Reinhard Busse is professor and department head for health care management at Technische Universität Berlin. He is one of the Associates Heads for Research Policy of the Berlin Hub for the European Observatory on Health and System policies and is on a number of other boards. Busse often serves as a consultant for the WHO, EU Commission, OECD, and more.
His research focuses on primarily health system research, such as comparative health system analysis (with a focus on central and eastern Europe), health services research including cost-effectiveness analyses, and health technology assessment (HTA).
