Paula Agosto is the senior vice president and Chief Nursing Officer at CHOP and is responsible for advancing nursing and respiratory practice and leading nursing research while supporting Children’s Hospital’s commitment to exceptional patient care. She has worked in various leadership and director position after starting as a staff nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, including nurse manager of the PICU, director of Critical Care, Emergency Transport and Emergency Nursing, and assistant vice president of Critical Care, Respiratory and Neuro-diagnostic Services. She has led many cross-organizational improvement and operating plan initiatives.
