M. Consuelo Cerón Mackay, BSN, MSc Educational Psychology, Diploma in Management of Higher Education Institutions and Diploma in Nursing. Management Early in my professional career I was for 4 years a bed side nurse in an Intensive Care Unit in a Pediatric Hospital, then I joined to work as a faculty member in the Nursing School at Universidad de los Andes. I was part of the team in Pediatric and Emergency course. For over 10 years I taught in aula and also went to clinical setting with undergraduate students as a clinical teacher. Subsequently I participated in the board of the Bachelor Programs in Sciences, then in the University Board as the Deputy of the General Secretary. After that I was for 5 years de Director of the School of Nursing and recently the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.
I actively participate in the Chilean Association of Nursing Education and in the Technical Group Developing Competence of Advanced Practice Nursing in Latin-American Countries. Currently I am leading the research team for the Project RN4CAST-Chile.
