This prestigious accolade highlights Dr. Bowles’ exceptional contributions to advancing knowledge and practice in nursing informatics.
Dr. Bowles, a renowned figure in her field, has consistently demonstrated expertise and dedication through her extensive research and publications. Her work has significantly impacted the understanding and implementation of health informatics, benefiting both academic circles and clinical practices worldwide.
This recognition was announced at the 16th International Congress in Nursing Informatics, NI2024, held at The University of Manchester, UK, from July 28 to 31, 2024. The conference, themed “Innovation in Applied Nursing Informatics,” brought together leading experts and professionals to discuss the latest advancements and innovations in the field. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, IMIA NI (International Medical Informatics Association, Nursing Informatics) continues to be a pioneer in promoting research and development in nursing informatics and e-health globally.
