Fifth Annual Story Slam

On February 22, 2024, the fifth iteration of the Penn Nursing Nursing Story Slam took to the virtual stage, featuring personal and powerful narratives of nurses from Penn Nursing and Penn Medicine.

February 28, 2024

The fifth annual event, known for celebrating the diversity and depth of the nursing profession through storytelling, opened with a performance by Kelli Dunham, a multifaceted talent known for her work as a stand-up comic, RN, author, storyteller, and ex-nun.

This year’s theme, “Perseverance,” showcased just how nurses keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge.

Now in its fifth year, the Nursing Story Slam is supported through the generosity of Sandy Samberg, Nu’94, GNu’95, and her husband, Joe Samberg. The event is a partnership between Penn Nursing, Penn Medicine, and First Person Arts.
