Barbara Bates Center resumes in-person research visits

The Barbara Bates Center welcomes researchers back to the archive as of Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Researcher policies have been updated according to University guidelines regarding COVID-19.

The Barbara Bates Center is pleased to announce that in-person research visits to the Joan E. Lynaugh Archives and Special Collections will resume as of Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

In accordance with the University of Pennsylvania’s guidelines on COVID-19, the Center will require masks for all researchers, regardless of vaccination status.
