Email Delay

ISC has informed us that our email message sanitation vendor experienced an issue with their virus definitions and, as a result, this issue caused widespread email delays (in the form of quarantining emails) both internal and external to the University.

Additionally, as messages were quarantined, an annotation was added to the email subject: [Virus Error] though there were no viruses present in the emails.

The vendor has fixed the issue and ISC is in the process of releasing all emails that were erroneously quarantined in the order they were received; this process is expected to take up two hours. For any emails received today, please ignore the annotation in the subject line.
