The Arcadia Foundation Makes an Investment in Technology at Penn Nursing

A generous grant from The Arcadia Foundation is helping to pave the way for integrating the latest tech advancements into education at Penn Nursing. The new funding supports our School’s Learning Technology Fund, a fund that supports state-of-the-art simulation experiences and a dynamic educational curriculum to prepare Penn Nursing students with the tools and experiences they need to provide care.

“We are grateful to The Arcadia Foundation for their commitment to education,” says Antonia M. Villarruel, Margaret Bond Simon Dean of Nursing. “Penn Nursing is building a foundation of innovation to change the future of health and health care, and this investment makes it possible for us to challenge our students to truly be change-makers.”

The Arcadia Foundation, a southeast Pennsylvania organization, has been a long-time supporter of Penn Nursing. Previous funding established The Arcadia Café in the lobby of Fagin Hall and the Edith Clemmer Steinbright Professorship of Gerontology at Penn Nursing.
