All School of Nursing domain machines will reboot after receiving critical security patches at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

All School of Nursing domain machines will reboot after receiving critical security patches at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.  At this time, we are also upgrading computers that have an older version of Microsoft Office; if you are prompted, please sign in with your PennO365 credentials.     

If you need to reset your PennO365 password, please use the following link:

Microsoft releases critical security patches for servers and desktop/laptop computers.

In addition to the monthly Microsoft Patch Tuesday Updates, ITS will also apply weekly third-party software patches overnight, every Wednesday morning from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. If you need access to network drives during that time, the virtual environment can be found here:

As ITS learns of critical vulnerabilities for which emergency patches are available, we will keep you informed. The University provides Symantec Endpoint Protection at no cost to Faculty, Staff, and Students; please contact the ITS Service Desk if you need a copy.
