On Sunday, October 21, 2018, members of the Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau attended the 32nd Annual Tri-State Consortium Brunch. The event featured distinguished lecturer Delaware Lieutenant Governor Bethany A. Hall-Long PhD, RN as well as Sigma chapter leaders. Faculty Xi Chapter Board members Cheryl Neisser Ph.D., R.N. and Desiree Fleck, Ph.D., CRNP attended as well as students and Xi Chapter Board members Breanne Mastromarino (BSN ’19) and Julianne Smolyn (BSN ’19) to represent Penn Nursing. They had the special opportunity to interact with Dr. Hall-Long on a personal level while sharing a table during brunch. The Xi Chapter is excited to apply the concepts and ideas presented to strengthen the Sigma community at Penn Nursing and further develop it into a network of leaders prepared to enact change!
