Penn Nursing & Penn SP2 in Boston

On April 3, 2019, Penn Nursing and the School of Social Policy & Practice held an event for alumni and friends in Boston. Deans Villarruel and Bachman hosted faculty members Dr. TJ Ghose and Dr. Lisa Lewis as they spoke about their work as Bland Fellows on the topic of incarceration.

The Intersection of Social Justice + Health: The Epidemic of Incarceration drew over 100 attendees and sparked conversation around a critical issue in American society today. Our thanks to the Penn Alumni Club of Boston and local event host committee members for their partnership.
