School of Nursing Commencement News
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
This note is a follow-up to today’s University announcement regarding graduation. First and foremost, we are pleased our seniors will have the opportunity to be on Franklin Field to celebrate their achievements with their classmates. Although it will be different from previous celebrations that mark these momentous occasions, it is an important step forward from where we and the rest of the world were one year ago, and we are confident it will be meaningful and memorable.
With regard to our own School of Nursing Commencement, we will again host a virtual ceremony to honor our graduates this year. This is consistent with our strong desire to create an inclusive event that will allow the Penn Nursing community, family, friends, and loved ones to attend, participate, and celebrate. As was the case last year, the flow and content for the event will be driven by the students, and will reflect a strong collaboration between them and multiple areas of our School. We are confident this virtual ceremony will capture the enthusiasm and pride we all have as we celebrate your accomplishments. More details about the event and how students can provide input will be sent in the coming weeks.
While we continue to find ourselves in extraordinary circumstances, we’re so incredibly grateful for, and proud of all of you - the extraordinary people in our Penn Nursing community.
