COVID-19: Share Your Story

Nurses are critical to successfully combating COVID-19. Archive your story with the Barbara Bates Center to ensure that future researchers know the important role nurses played during this pandemic.

We want to ensure nurses’ voices are heard and captured. We are seeking to hear from the spectrum of nurses’ experiences, whether in research, practice, or teaching during this time.

Submit your story to the Barbara Bates Center for the Study of the History of Nursing. The Center will preserve your story for future use by researchers. Submit your response via our survey - COVID-19: Share Your Experience.

Some examples of items that could be included are:

  • a sign or art you or someone else in your community created
  • screen shots of your social media posts
  • your own journal entries (written, audio, or video) documenting your experience

Please contact the Center at if you would like to submit your story by video, larger photos, or other format.
