Earn a minor along with your master’s

Undergrad Nursing, 2011 Pursuing a minor at the School of Nursing opens up avenues of education that complement your Master’s degree and broaden your career path. Penn Nursing offers nine options. If you are interested in this option, speak to the Program Directors to discuss requirements. Prior to declaring your minor, we often suggest that you take a course in your area of interest.

Most minor programs at the Master’s level require three courses and may require additional practice hours.

 

How to Declare a Minor

A student needs to formally declare a minor by completing the MSN Minor form. Prior to submitting the form, the student must obtain permission from the Program Directors. The minor is recorded on the student’s transcript.
