Dr. Andrea Morlok is a CRNA at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care and the CRNA Lead for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 2005. After working in the Emergency Department and Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for three years, she earned a Master of Science from Drexel University in 2010. She then earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Post University in 2021.

Dr. Morlok is passionate about patient safety, quality improvement and education. She has written and implemented multiple protocols and practice guidelines, as well as serving as the CRNA representative on both departmental and hospital wide committees.

Dr. Morlok believes that advocacy and volunteer service are important. She serves on the Board of Directors for Caring People Alliance, as well as on their safety committee. She also serves on the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists Professional Development Committee.
