Caroline K. Darlington, MSN, WHNP-BC
Bio
Caroline Darlington is a pre-doctoral student at Penn Nursing. Her research focus is on improving care for pregnant and parenting women with opioid use disorder, especially after child custody loss. She is also pursuing a Certificate in Law from Penn Carey Law School, and her dissertation work is focused on moral distress and legal/ethical decision-making among clinicians as they care for these marginalized women. She received her MSN in the Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner program at Penn Nursing and currently works as an inpatient nurse practitioner on the postpartum units at Jefferson-Abington Hospital.
