I was lucky enough to visit the Shoe Museum in Michigan, a project of East Jordan Middle/High School’s Shoe Club. The museum reminds us—through the stories of those who donate their shoes—to value ourselves and to value others, something I’ve thought about often as I prepared for this new semester.
