Claire Regan, DNP, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC-
Claire is a predoctoral fellow with the NewCourtland. She graduated with a BSN from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario in 2012, and completed a DNP at the University of Maryland in May of 2020, specializing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Following graduation, Claire completed a one-year residency at the VA in Baltimore with a focus in geriatrics. For the past year, she had been working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care DNP program and practicing as a clinician caring for older adults. Outside of these roles, Claire is a member of the Future’s Committee and the Online Education Subcommittee within the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, serves as a member of the editorial board for the Geriatric Nursing Journal, and is the outgoing treasurer for the Maryland Chapter of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association. Research interests surround quality of life in older adults within the long-term care and community settings.
