Part Time Lecturer – Women’s Health/Gender-Related NP Program

Casey Benchimol (they/them) is a Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner and Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner working as faculty in the WHNP program at Penn and in primary care at the Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia. Casey works with patients of all genders to provide primary care, gender-affirming care, prevent and treat HIV, and improve access to sexual and reproductive health within their community. Casey also enjoys teaching nursing and advanced practice providers in clinical settings and as a lecturer. Their ultimate goal is to improve education for nurses and providers on appropriate and intersectional approaches to care for LGBTQ+ individuals in order to reduce healthcare disparities experienced by the LGBTQ+ community.
