I am in the Healthcare Leadership program with a focus on Nursing Education. I will graduate in spring 2023.

I am in the Healthcare Leadership program with a focus on Nursing Education. I will graduate in spring 2023.

If you have a particular area of nursing interest, what is it:

: I have an interest in nursing professional development, which focuses on promoting nursing, improving nursing practice, and encouraging nurses to continue their education.

What do you hope to be doing in five years?

In five years, I hope to finish my graduate program in Healthcare Leadership and Nursing Education. I plan to work as a professional development specialist, teach nurses, and work in hospital settings with student nurses to improve their clinical skills.

Could you share a fun fact about yourself?

I serve as the surgical chair for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Nursing Practice Core Council. Along with being a full-time nurse for the heart and vascular department, I work to streamline surgical nursing policies among three different surgical floors within the hospital.
