Laura Wallace, BSN, MSN
Bio
Laura Wallace is a predoctoral student at Penn Nursing and a predoctoral fellow in the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health. Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Chester University, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from San Diego State University.. Laura worked for several years at UC San Diego Health as a clinical nurse, transitional care nurse, and geriatric and cardiovascular nurse educator. Her clinical work revealed the complex challenges faced by older adults in the acute care setting and inspired her research interests.
