Andre A. Rosario, BSN, RN-BC, PhD Candidate
Bio
Andre A. Rosario is a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. He studies the history of nursing, Filipino nurse migration, and nursing workforce policy. Andre’s dissertation research has been supported by grants from the American Association for the History of Nursing, as well as Penn’s Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Immigration and the Office of Nursing Research. He has presented at the Agnes Dillon Randolph International Nursing History Conference and served on the Board of Directors of the American Association for the History of Nursing. Prior to his doctoral work, Andre worked as a medical-surgical nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
