Erin Kennedy, BSN
Bio
Erin is a predoctoral student in the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health and a Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation. She is a registered nurse and received her BSN from Penn Nursing in 2019. Erin’s research focuses on health informatics and information technology that supports healthcare providers’ discharge planning efforts and reduces readmissions for at-risk older adults. She leverages clinical decision support and natural language processing tools to identify patients’ barriers to discharge and improve decision making.
