Nicole Conover, MSN, APN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC Nicole Conover is a first year PhD student at Penn Nursing. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner and has been practicing in the pediatric primary care setting at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for the past six years. Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse, Nicole worked in the pediatric and neonatal intensive care units as a bedside nurse. Nicole has developed a passion for helping breastfeeding families navigate the early weeks of infancy and beyond, becoming an internationally board-certified lactation consultant in 2021. Nicole has been an advocate for breastfeeding focused education for pediatric health care providers as a leader of the Ambulatory Breastfeeding Consortium, a virtual monthly meeting presenting breastfeeding focused content for the CHOP Primary Care network. Her research interests include breastfeeding support in the primary care setting, feeding patterns in early infancy through early childhood, and tandem breastfeeding.
