Kayla Baker, MSN, RN
Bio
Kayla is a predoctoral student at Penn Nursing doing a dual degree program, which includes a Masters in Bioethics through the Perlman School of Medicine, division of Medical Ethics. She received her Bachelor and Master of Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston where she had the opportunity to teach and collaborate on research projects, which established an interest in pursuing a PhD program. Kayla previously worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA as an oncology nurse prior to relocating to Philadelphia. Kayla’s research interests are in palliative care, psychedelics, and ethics.

Methodologies: Kayla is interested in the use of mixed methods, qualitative methods, and implementation science.
