Anderson Oerth
Anderson Oerth serves as a Simulation Operations Specialist for the Pavilion. Soon after joining Penn Nursing in November 2019, Anderson began his EPIC EMR certification training and serves as the operations representative for EPIC development and implementation. His career highlights include creating “connectivity guides” for A/V equipment throughout the simulation center and supporting the build of the Fuld Pavilion Sharepoint site. Anderson has a background in data analytics, which he plans to build upon through the University of Pennsylvania LPS program.

Addressing Substance Use and Pain Key to Limiting Self-Directed Hospital Discharge
It is not uncommon for people with opioid-related conditions, including opioid dependence and opioid use disorder (OUD), to be regularly hospitalized to treat infections, trauma, or other emergent conditions. Kathy Bowles and team awarded 5-year NINR grant
The new study, I-TRANSFER, seeks to identify, understand and develop strategies for overcoming barriers to the implementation of effective clinical interventions. Specifically, I-TRANSFER is designed to address several barriers and gaps that may jeopardize the implementation of early post-acute surveillance among sepsis survivors.
