Suzanna Ho, RN, MSN, ASQ CSSGB
Ms. Ho serves as Co-Course Director for NURS7890: Principles and Practices of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement for the DNP program. Her work is focused on finding the paths to align the client, family, and clinicians’ experience towards achieving health and wellness across the care continuum. Throughout her career she has led quality improvement projects to reduce harm, identify value, improve care quality, and increase operational safety. As the Acting Director of Quality at First Nations Health Authority, Ms. Ho is responsible for the strategies and leadership of organizational improvement, clinical quality and patient safety across the system in partnership with regional teams to ensure the provision of excellent community health service programs and nursing services. She enjoys working with groups and students to tackle complex and challenging problems, while engaging with stories and data. Ms. Ho received her BSN at the University of British Columbia and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing Administration at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Associate of Project Management (PMI), a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ASQ) and has also completed the Institute of Healthcare Improvement’s Patient Safety Executive program
