Tracy Flood RN, BSN, MSN is an adjunct faculty member in The University of Pennsylvania Nurse Anesthesia Program, with a primary focus on simulation. After leaving a first career in finance, Tracy pursued her BSN at Thomas Jefferson University. She thoroughly enjoyed learning about critical illnesses and gravitated towards practice in the ICU. After working for 5 years in the Neurovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Jefferson, Tracy decided on continuing her nursing education by attaining her MSN in anesthesia at Villanova University. Since graduating, she has been a valued member of the anesthesia group at Pennsylvania Hospital. Along with her role in the simulation lab at Penn, Tracy mentors and orients new students to practice and teaches clinical anesthesia through all levels of the program. In her down time, Tracy is an avid Peloton member, enjoys trying new food and loves to travel, hoping to see much of the world!
