Dr. Jeannette A. Rogowski’s research focuses on nurse staffing and practice environments in neonatal intensive care units and patient outcomes for premature infants.  Dr. Rogowski is a member of the Board of Directors of the Vermont Oxford Network, an international network of neonatal intensive care units whose mission is to improve the quality and safety of medical care for newborn infants and their families.  She is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and an Adjunct Senior Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics.  She serves as an Associate Editor for Health Economics and as a member of the editorial board of Health Affairs.  She has served on numerous national advisory committees including the National Advisory Committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research, the Institute of Medicine’s Committee on Understanding Premature Birth and Assuring Healthy Outcomes, and the Steering Committee for the National Institute on Aging’s Health and Retirement Study.
