Hodgson Appointed to Penn Fellows Program
Nancy Hodgson, PhD, RN, FAAN, the Anthony Buividas Term Chair in Gerontology, Professor of Nursing, and Chair of the Biobehavioral Health Sciences Department (BHS), has been appointed to the thirteenth cohort of the Penn Fellows Program for 2021.
May 28, 2021The Penn Fellows Program provides leadership development to select Penn faculty in mid-career. Begun in 2009, it includes opportunities to build alliances across the University, meet distinguished academic leaders, think strategically about University governance and consult with Penn’s senior administrators.
Hodgson is internationally recognized as an expert in biobehavioral research with older adults with dementia, she has been actively engaged in a highly collaborative and productive program of research focused on the development, testing, and dissemination of care interventions for older adults with dementia and their family caregivers for the last 25 years. She is Academic Research Representative on the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Council, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America.
