Adobe Acrobat Licensing

Friday, November 22, 2019

November 22, 2019

On November 30th 2019, Adobe Acrobat legacy licensing (serial numbers) will expire and Adobe will move to a per-user licensing model. The new model will now require all users to log in to the Adobe site with their Adobe ID or their Federated ID.

ITS will deserialize all versions of Adobe on the morning of Tuesday, November 26, 2019, and, after that time, you will be required to log in to the Adobe site using either of the IDs listed above.

Adobe ID’s are for those who have Creative Cloud access and the ID is their School of Nursing email address (PennKey@nursing.upenn.edu) and their previously selected password

Federated ID’s are for those who need to read, create and/or edit PDF’s and the ID will have the following format - PennKey@upenn.edu, so that it will integrate with Penn’s Single Sign-On for enterprise accounts; once you have entered your ID, you will be prompted by a PennKey weblogin request, with Two-Factor authentication, and you can then create a password on the Adobe site.

Should you have any questions, please contact the ITS Service Desk, servicedesk@nursing.upenn.edu.
