Scheduled Network Maintenance on Fagin Hall Data Ports

Date: Friday, October 11, 2019
Start Time: 8:00 AM
End Time: 12:00 PM
Duration: Four Hours

During Fall Break, ISC Networking will make changes to all network ports in Fagin Hall. These changes will move all Fagin Hall computers and devices behind the building’s firewall, in addition to the existing campus border firewall, to greatly improve security and offer a VPN option in the future. The port change will create a brief network outage and computers and devices should automatically reconnect. The impact to on-premise devices should be minimal.

If you experience any problems beyond the planned maintenance window or have questions prior to the outage, please contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@nursing.upenn.edu or 215-898-5981.

Regards,

ITS Service Desk
