The Project

About the Evaluation

Nurses4All@BC, an evaluation by the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR), examines nursing work environments throughout British Columbia. This evaluation assesses the impact of minimum nurse-to-patient ratios (mNPRs), providing critical insights to inform policy and enhance outcomes for patients and nurses. Employing methodologies used globally in over 30 countries, this evaluation analyzes the relationship between nurse staffing and patient outcomes, including measures of patient safety and quality of care.
