Independence Blue Cross Nurses for Tomorrow Scholarship

These awards range from $500 to $2500, and are based on where a student lives. Students who qualify need to provide proof of residency—like an RN license, driver’s license, car registration, or voter registration—in one of the following areas: Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, or Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania; New Castle County in Delaware; Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, and Mercer Counties in New Jersey.

William Randolph Hearst Foundation Scholarship

The Foundation awarded a grant in 2016 to Penn Nursing to provide expendable scholarships for diverse nursing students in the accelerated second-degree baccalaureate program. These students will come from financially, educationally, and environmental challenged backgrounds and/or from under-represented minority groups. This financial support allows us to bring a talented diverse group of committed students to our School and provide both financial and mentorship support needed to assure their success.
