This grant, funded in large part by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation , is awarded each year to two doctoral students, and provides each recipient $125,000 of funding over the course of three years. The goal of the program is to build a new generation of PhD-prepared nursing leaders—skilled in science, research, and innovation; mentored by key health care, business, and policy leaders; and networked together across the country—to create real transformational change in health and health care.
