Announcement: Amy Gutmann Leadership Scholars Program
President Amy Gutmann and her husband, Michael Doyle, have given $2 million to establish the Amy Gutmann Leadership Scholars Program in the School of Nursing beginning in January 2021 for full-time students who meet the criteria of the program. “Serving on the front lines of health care, nurses are heroes in the effort to contain and defeat the COVID-19 virus,” she says. “They are also key to making high-quality health care both universal and affordable. Michael and I want to do our part to support the most talented and diverse nursing students who are eager to serve in urban and rural areas that need them most.”
Penn Nursing Applicants who are eligible will be notified on how to apply. Applications will include an essay and will be reviewed by the Selection Committee.
