Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing

As a BFS-Nursing Scholar, you will engage in an intensive academic experience, along with peers in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Wharton School and in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, to complete the undergraduate Nursing major with an intensive liberal arts component. In addition to a variety of campus-wide programs as part of BFS, you will be able to enroll in the justly famed BFS Seminars – course taught by expert faculty from across campus in a variety of topics.

Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing students are part of the campus wide Benjamin Franklin Scholars Program.

Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing Expectations

Scholars are expected to: 

  • Conduct themselves in accordance with policies related to academic integrity and professional conduct.
  • Complete all Honors coursework
    • 3 BFS Courses
    • Senior Capstone Project (Fall and Spring of senior year)
  • Attend all Honors Seminars and events.
  • Maintain the minimum GPA as specified below:
Undergraduate Year Minimum GPA
First Year 3.1
Second Year 3.2
Third Year 3.3
Fourth Year 3.4
