Course Information

  • Welcome Letter from N061 Faculty
  • Freshman Course Timetable - Full listing of courses across the University.
  • Freshman Seminars - While not required, freshman seminars are an excellent introduction to academic life, and are highly recommended during the freshman year. Freshman Seminars provide a unique opportunity to work with a faculty in a small class setting (usually no more than 20 students) devoted to a significant intellectual endeavor.
  • Nursing Course Timetable - Full listing of Nursing courses offered this Fall.
  • Writing Seminars - All Nursing undergraduates are required to take a writing seminar during their first year at Penn, which offers a chance to develop your writing skills through analysis and discussion of various text and interesting topics.

Compliance and Immunization

All students at Penn Nursing must have appropriate immunizations and a physical evaluation to enter the clinical setting. Students also must have a series of background checks, CPR certification, online trainings and a drug screen annually.

Please check your Nursing email throughout the summer for updates and instructions from the Office of Student Information regarding clinical compliance for Fall 2016.
