Nursing and Health Care Management Coordinated Dual Degree Program
Plans of Study
Below are sample plans of study for incoming Nursing and Health Care Management (NHCM) students based on expected graduation year. These plans can be tailored to individual student needs and interests. NHCM students are encouraged to meet with their advisors in the School of Nursing and Wharton to develop an individualized plan of study that will meet their needs.
- Advanced Placement: Advanced Placement (AP) credit is available for several of the required courses for the program. Please refer to Penn's Advanced Placement policy for more information.
- Language Requirement: First-year students are strongly encouraged to take a language placement exam. Students who place out of one or more levels of a language will have greater flexibility in their plan of study. Students who do not have advanced language proficiency and who need to start a language from the beginning typically need four semesters of that language to fulfill the language requirement.
- General Education and Global Requirements: NHCM general education and global requirements are governed by Wharton. Please refer to the General Education and Global Course List and consult with a Wharton advisor for more information.
