Research Opportunities

Each year, the Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International provides research funding to chapter members. Funding has ranged from $200 to $2000 based on the number, budget and quality of the submitted proposals. The proposals can be qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods in design and are submitted online and by hard copy. The award process is highly competitive due to the limited availability of funds so applicants are encouraged to review the criteria thoroughly before submitting their application. The proposals are reviewed by PhD members of the board and graded using the criteria from NINR.
Successful applicants must be members in good standing of the Xi Chapter and are expected to attend the induction ceremony on Sunday May 13, 2012 in order to receive the funding.
Application Deadline: March 26, 2012. Funding to be announced by April 16.
