Sigma Theta Tau Membership
Application Deadline for 2012: February 2012
The University of Pennsylvania’s Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, annual membership will be opening in December 2011 for 2012 Induction. We strongly encourage all qualified students to apply by completing a membership application, obtaining two (2) letters of endorsement from current members of Sigma Theta Tau International, and submitting a copy of your transcript.
Undergraduate students must have completed at least one-half of their nursing curriculum, have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 grading scale and meet the expectations of academic integrity.
Graduate students (masters and doctoral) must have completed at least one-fourth of their nursing program of study, have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and meet the expectations of academic integrity.
Community Leader applicants must hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing, or the equivalent; have demonstrated marked achievement in education, practice, research, administration, or scholarly work. The application form for Community Leader applicants must be accessed through Sigma Theta Tau International.
All completed applications should be returned to the Sigma Theta Tau mailbox, Claire M. Fagin Hall, Level 1P.
