SNAP is a student-run organization that represents the students in
the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. It actively
contributes to nursing education in order to provide for the highest quality
of care and to represent the role of nurses in the health care arena.
Its
members strive to have direct input into standards of nursing education as
well as to influence health care.
SNAP promotes
participation in community service activities in the area of health care and
encourages collaborative relationships with nursing and health related
organizations.
SNAP
also serves as the University of Pennsylvania chapter of the Student
Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) and the National
Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
All
Undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Nursing school are
considered members of SNAP. If you are interested in becoming an
active member, just come to one of our monthly general body meetings!
