Office of Nursing Research
The Office of Nursing Research is staffed with professionals dedicated to supporting the School's core research mission from finding funding opportunities, to proposal development and submission, and regulatory compliance. The School's office is part of a network of professionals throughout the University dedicated to supporting and growing the research mission in an interdisciplinary effort to advance nursing knowledge. Currently, Penn Nursing has a number of research grants working in conjunction with other Schools at the University, including Wharton, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, as well as the Firearm and Injury Center at Penn. In addition the unique location of Penn Nursing enables researchers to partner with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Veteran's Center among other venues. Currently, the School has $7.7 million in NIH funding, ranking it second among all Schools of Nursing.
